With all the travelling I've done, I can tell you that I'd rather sit next to a fat person. They're usually polite, conversational, and apologetic about the situation in the tin can...unlike the six-foot-four Pennsylvanian businessman whose shoulders just 'happen' to be too broad for the chair and so I end up squished against them for most of the flight.

Bet he doesn't get shoved onto the next flight.
