Left to my own devices, I make horrible, horrible coffee.

At work, not 25 feet from my desk, is an espresso maker that only requires one to insert a cartridge. It is good espresso.

I may never have been so highly caffeinated in my life. Except for that one time in college, where too much Diet Coke actually caused short-circuiting of the brain.

(Goes off to plot possible theft of younger sister's newly acquired cappucino/espresso maker on return to US - fact that younger sister unbent regarding coffee to extent that now OWNS such machine may actually be sign of the apocalypse.)

Just wanted to say hello. Am currently waist-deep in barbri and have been busy setting up our new apartment in Arlington. Hope you are having a good time in Europe (and I am sure you are!). Also, be careful with the coffee. I had a roommate that was so addicted to caffeine that he drank only coffee, coke, and Water Joe (caffeinated water) and took regular caffeine pills. I hope you do not suffer a similar fate as a result of devotion to your dark master.

HEY!

Alas, my true master is much much darker, and goes by the name of Pierre Marcolini. He takes strange tropical seedpods, syrup from hollow canes, and the milch of a bovine to create things that hold me in their thrall. Possibly forever. Belgium, oh Belgium, between beer, chocolate, and frittes, how will I be able to leave?

CONGRATULATIONS to you two, by the way - I'm sorry I'm so tardy!

cake site is up!! www.tortsandtarts.com

Had the first, of many I'm sure, wedding meltdowns today...all about my mom (not) talking to Nick's mom and wanting 2 wedding dresses. Its not so much that I actually want 2 wedding dresses as I want to hold on to the idea that I could possibly have 2 wedding dresses...of course I havent even found one I like, of course I havent even looked.

I think I should move to Katmandu.

I love the site. I think there might be some events this summer where a cake of yours could come very much in handy - go you!

As for wedding dresses - if worst comes to worst, you can have two, and for my bridesmaid's ensemble I'll wear a sombrero and tutu and bring my maracas.
